During the 2013 edition of Miami Art Basel Week, I flew down south to take part of the urban festivities. Fifteen days under the sun inhaling color fumes, painting walls and fifteen nights with the hoodlums, wandering the streets. Like a big summer camp for artists, coming from all around the world, this last party of the year is the perfect way to meet one last time before heading back home. Every year it gets crazier, but this year, the circus as officially taken over. For better or for worse, only time will tell.
